Probable causes
- Stuck thermostat
- Worn HT water pump
- Fouled heat exchanger
- Coolant leak
Solution
Check thermostat opening, HT pump flow, plate heat exchanger cleanliness and coolant level and quality. Check the pump belt/coupling.
